Those who faithfully follow my blog posts will realize that they span the entire Book of Psalms, from Psalm 1 through to Psalm 150. In total there are 365 devotional posts, one for every day of the year.
Later this year Elk Lake Publishing will publish these devotions in book form under the title, “365 Days through the Psalms,” with the subtitle, “Developing a Life of Biblical Worship and Prayer.” More information will follow as we get closer to the release date expected this summer.
In the mean time, those who want to dig deeper into the Psalms may enjoy my previous
book on the Psalms, “Psalms Alive! Connecting Heaven and Earth.”
“Psalms Alive!” is more of a study book than a daily devotion. Each chapter begins with a Psalm reading, but unlike a daily devotion, the commentary that follows doesn’t end after a page. Each chapter is five to six pages in length and then ends with a series of discussion questions or suggested activities to bring that psalm to life. This is ideal for a weekly small group study, or simply for personal application.

As for my daily devotional posts on the Psalms, they will resume on Monday with Psalm 1. Anything worth doing once is well worth repeating, especially when it draws our attention to the Word of God.
Congratulations on your upcoming book! I thoroughly enjoyed Psalms Alive and I am sure will enjoy this one just as much. Please keep us posted on release date!
Your book has been a blessing to me as well, Pete. “The A.S.K. Principle” has given me a better understanding of prayer.
And yes, I’ll keep you posted on “365 through the Psalms,” as the release date approaches.
Congrats, David, may God bless the work of your hands to His honor and glory!
Thanks, Wally. Blessings on you as well.
Well done 🙂
Thanks, Robert.
David, the Lord has truly given you the gift of bringing the Psalms alive. I just finished the book and am reading through it again. The Lord spoke to my heart so much as I read through the pages. I’m looking forward to “365 Days through the Psalms” and have a list of people who will be receiving it as a Christmas gift next year. Thank you for so faithfully serving the Lord with your work.
I really appreciate the encouraging feedback, Beth Alisan.
