Today’s quote and prayer from
“Psalms 365: Develop a Life of Worship and Prayer”
by David Kitz.

Reading: Psalm 44:17-26
LORD God,
when life is hard,
help me to remember to bring my complaints
and travails to you.
You are bigger than any agony
or grief I may face.
I call out to you, my Savior,
and my God.
Amen.
— — —
Why do I take my flesh in my teeth,
And put my life in my hands?
Though He slay me,
yet will I trust Him.
Even so, I will defend my own ways before Him.
He also shall be my salvation,
For a hypocrite could not come before Him.
(Job 13:14-16), NKJV)*
