“Psalms 365: Develop a Life of Worship and Prayer

Today’s Reading: Psalm 37:1-6
Listen to today’s reading by Jonathan Dent:
LORD God,
help me to delight myself in you.
May I love what you love.
Help me to recognize
when my desires are right and wholesome,
and when they are misdirected.
I pray in Jesus’ name.
Amen.

Minds Set on Things Above
Since, then,
you have been raised with Christ,
set your hearts on things above,
where Christ is seated at the right hand of God.
Set your minds on things above,
not on earthly things.
For you died,
and your life is now hidden with Christ in God.
When Christ,
who is your life, appears,
then you also will appear with him in glory.
(Colossians 3:1-7 NIV)*
Whoever does not love does not know God,
because God is love (1 John 4:8 NIV)
