Today’s quote and prayer from
“Psalms 365: Develop a Life of Worship and Prayer”
by David Kitz.Psalm 132c

Reading: Psalm 132:11-18

Father God,
I thank you for your son, Jesus.
He is the descendant of King David
who fulfilled your covenant
and now he reigns forever.
King Jesus,
I am your servant.
Reign in my life today.

Amen.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ,
the new creation has come:
The old has gone, the new is here!

All this is from God,
who reconciled us to himself through Christ
and gave us the ministry of reconciliation:
that God was reconciling the world
to himself in Christ,
not counting people’s sins against them.
And he has committed to us
the message of reconciliation.
(2 Corinthian 5:17-19, NIV)*

I do not normally make requests for personal prayer in my posts, but this post is an exception.

Yesterday, I arrived in Tallinn, Estonia, and tomorrow I begin a five-day speaking engagement at a church camp here in the Baltic nation of Estonia. I am currently being hosted and feasted by a lovely Estonian couple in the capital. Please pray for my ministry to the camp attendees. Pray they will hear from God during our time together.

It is a great privilege to bring God’s word to God’s people in a foreign land, but it is also a great responsibility. I pray I will be able to serve with humility, grace, and truth.

Next week I hope to report back about what God has done in answer to your prayers.
