Today’s quote and prayer from
“Psalms 365: Develop a Life of Worship and Prayer”
by David Kitz.![Psalm 137_1-6 -365](https://davidkitz.blog/wp-content/uploads/2024/04/psalm-137_1-6-365.png?w=529)
Reading: Psalm 137:1-6
Father God,
I don’t want to learn things the hard way.
I want to be quick to obey you.
Help me to learn from the lessons of history,
and the Bible.
You are the one, true God.
I worship you.
Amen.
So when you, a mere human being,
pass judgment on them
and yet do the same things,
do you think you will escape God’s judgment?
Or do you show contempt for the riches
of his kindness, forbearance and patience,
not realizing that God’s kindness
is intended to lead you to repentance?
(Romans 2:3-4), NIV)*
