Bethlehem, expecting a child, Joseph, manger, Mary, Nazareth, town of David
I will praise Him!

It Came Upon a Midnight Clear — photo by David Kitz
So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David. He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child. While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for them.

Reblogged this on Talmidimblogging.
Merry Christmas, David. I have enjoyed your posts so much. The Psalms are loaded with comfort, but this post today, puts it all together, doesn’t it. May God continue to bless your writing.
Thanks for your words of encouragement. I hope you had a glorious Christmas with lots of Jesus’ presence.
Truth that will not fade, nor age. How we need to know this. His gift goes on and on!
So true. “The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the word of our God endures forever” Isaiah 40:8.
