My heart, O God, is steadfast,
my heart is steadfast;
I will sing and make music.
Awake, my soul!
Awake, harp and lyre!
I will awaken the dawn.
I will praise you, Lord, among the nations;
I will sing of you among the peoples.
For great is your love, reaching to the heavens;
your faithfulness reaches to the skies.
Be exalted, O God, above the heavens;
let your glory be over all the earth.
“Great is His faithfulness” Amen and Hallelujah!
I love this Psalm.
Some where I read that King David left the “sun light” open above his bed. In the very early morning, a breeze would come up, and its noise awaken the king. This psalm exemplifies his routine of getting up early to praise, worship, and commune with his King–our Father, our King.
Love this psalm, too.

I love the thought of David rising early to praise the Lord. It seems so appropriate.
