Defeating my human inclination towards self pity and whinging is a constant battle, it never ends. But by His Spirit and His Word I have the tools for the job, praise the Lord! Thankyou for this reminder David.
I relate to your statement David. I’m finding it easier to praise Him, be thankful and have a song in my heart in the midst of situations/circumstances that I used to find unbearable. I believe that is all because of His work in my heart. However, a more difficult, long-term issue that I have faced for almost forty years, although I am persevering, I find it necessary to first express my upset or disappointment to Him. He is so faithful to help me in that moment. He gives me hope for the day!
Thanks, David. Anabela is delighted with your help. David

This is a battle we all face, and it calls for perseverance. God bless you, Alan.

I agree with you. We need to let God know our frustrations and disappointments rather than bottle them up. Thanks for your comment Eva Yvonne.
Happy Belated Thanksgiving!
Thanks, Slim Jim. This year we had a lovely outdoor meal with immediate family only due to pandemic precautions.
