I will praise the LORD!

Autumn morning mist — photo by David Kitz
(Psalm 84:10-12, NIV)*
Better is one day in your courts
than a thousand elsewhere;
I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God
than dwell in the tents of the wicked.
For the LORD God is a sun and shield;
the LORD bestows favor and honor;
no good thing does he withhold
from those whose walk is blameless.
LORD Almighty,
blessed is the one who trusts in you.

Stunning picture David and a great fit for this portion of Psalms 84. Yes one day is better in His courts than a thousand elsewhere.
That location is about a 10 minute drive from my home. Trust me. Walking into that scene as the morning mist rises is beyond wonderful. The photo is a weak imitation of the reality, kind of like this world is a weak imitation of the glory of heaven.
A truth that never gets old
True. Renew us in your presence, Lord.
Amen
