Today’s quote and prayer from
“Psalms 365: Develop a Life of Worship and Prayer”
by David Kitz.
Reading: Psalm 92:9-15
LORD God,
thank you for the peace and security I enjoy.
Many are not so fortunate.
I don’t want to take my peace
and prosperity for granted.
Show me how I can be of help
in this troubled world.
Amen.
— — —
My son, do not forget my teaching,
but keep my commands in your heart,
for they will prolong your life many years
and bring you peace and prosperity.
Let love and faithfulness never leave you;
bind them around your neck,
write them on the tablet of your heart.
Then you will win favor and a good name
in the sight of God and man.
(Proverbs 3:1-4, NIV)*
