Today’s quote and prayer from
“Psalms 365: Develop a Life of Worship and Prayer”
by David Kitz.

 Reading: Psalm 95:7-11

LORD God,
give me ears that hear your voice
gently speaking to me.
Give me a heart that is quick to obey.
I want a tender heart
that reflects your love for me
and for others.
I pray in Jesus’ name.

Amen.

— — —

He [Jesus] said to them,
“Do you bring in a lamp
to put it under a bowl or a bed?
Instead, don’t you put it on its stand?

For whatever is hidden is meant to be disclosed,
and whatever is concealed is meant to be
brought out into the open.

If anyone has ears to hear,
let them hear.”

(Mark 4:21-23, NIV)*
