Holy Spirit, Jesus, Lord of the storm, storms of life, the LORD, the peace of Christ, troubled, trust in God

Today’s quote and prayer from
“Psalms 365: Develop a Life of Worship and Prayer”
by David Kitz.Psalm 29_11

Reading: Psalm 29

Lord Jesus,
You are the LORD of the storm
and the LORD of peace.
When storms arise in my life
help me to trust you completely.
Lord Jesus,
grant me peace in the midst of the storm.

Amen.

— — —

But the Advocate,
the Holy Spirit,
whom the Father will send in my name,
will teach you all things
and will remind you of everything
I have said to you.

Peace I leave with you;
my peace I give you.
I do not give to you as the world gives.
Do not let your hearts be troubled
and do not be afraid.
(John 14:26-27), NIV)*
