My heart, O God, is steadfast,
my heart is steadfast;
I will sing and make music.
Awake, my soul!
Awake, harp and lyre!
I will awaken the dawn.
I will praise you, LORD, among the nations;
I will sing of you among the peoples.
For great is your love, reaching to the heavens;
your faithfulness reaches to the skies.
Be exalted, O God, above the heavens;
let your glory be over all the earth.

David, I can just imagine the fulness of the Psalmist’s heart when I read this. Reading the Psalms aloud even gives the sense of what he was feeling, knowing that it is the Lord’s fulness, His Spirit “inhabiting our praises.” How can we not praise Him who know HIs love and faithfulness. Thank you again for sharing the Psalms. They are always a blessing to this old heart of mine. ~ Fran
I am glad to know you are fully awake to the goodness and glory of God.
