LORD God,
when I am down, I cry to you for help.
You are my hope when all hope is gone.
Come to me in the dark times of my life.
At such times I need you the most.
Amen.

I love the Psalms 
And we have promises such as. “…if we ask anything according to His will we know that He hears us. And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him.” 1 John 4:14b-15 My only comfort in those dark times was holding on to these and other promises. You are right, I sure am not seeing the answer yet but I trust Him that He is listening.
