Today’s quote and prayer from
“Psalms 365: Develop a Life of Worship and Prayer”

Today’s Reading: Psalm 147:1-3
LORD God,
heal my hurts
so I can help heal the hurts of others.
I pray that your people will find comfort
in your word.
May your words bring health and healing.
You are worthy of praise,
heavenly Father.
Amen.
— — — —
And we urge you,
brothers and sisters,
warn those who are idle and disruptive,
encourage the disheartened,
help the weak,
be patient with everyone.
Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong,
but always strive to do what is good
for each other and for everyone else.
(1 Thessalonians 5:14-15 NIV)*
