Today’s quote and prayer from
“Psalms 365: Develop a Life of Worship and Prayer”
by David Kitz.
Reading: Psalm 22:9-15
Heavenly Father,
thank you for sending your son, Jesus
to this cruel world to suffer on my behalf.
Your unconditional love for me was demonstrated
on the cross for all to see.
I can never thank you enough.
Amen.

“And I will pour out on the house of David
and the inhabitants of Jerusalem
a spirit of grace and supplication.
They will look on me,
the one they have pierced,
and they will mourn for him
as one mourns for an only child,
and grieve bitterly for him
as one grieves for a firstborn son.
(Zechariah 12:10), NIV)*
